Independence High School is truly a great school. It is a privilege to be part of the rich traditions of excellence that exist at Independence in academics and co-curricular programs. I encourage all of our students to become involved with school activities, to make a commitment to academic excellence, and to be a contributor to the special school spirit that exists on our beautiful campus.

As a professional staff, we are relationship-centered and believe all students can succeed! Academic achievement, student success, and campus safety are our highest priorities for Independence High School. The staff is committed to setting high standards and maintaining the best educational environment possible for ALL students. We expect all our students to make a personal commitment to excel, be involved in student activities, and make good decisions.
